Jaanta Foundation is a NGO working for the society in rural as well as in urban areas. If anyone want to work for society requested to co-ordinate with us. We would like enlighten you with brief facts of our organization. History: Jaanta Foundation, a Non-Government Organisation (NGO) was started by a group of volunteers in the year 2004 with a motto to serve the under privileged class of society in Tribal areas of Thane, Raigad & Nashik District. Read more In the year 2009, our organization got registered under the Public Trust Registration Act 1950. Mission: To look after the development of the less privileged by providing them computer Education, Child Care, Women Empowerment, Youth Development, global environment and Tribal Welfare Projects. Project Undertaken: I. Jaanta Adivishi Vikas : This was our first Project. We started our unit development with this project with five members without any expectation through our college days and still we are working on this project. We got good support from sosva group in this work. 1. We are providing classes to Adivashi 1st to 10th standard student. 2. Providing computer training to literate adivashi youth. 3. Doing Swayamrojgar project in adivashi areas. 4. Providing Government project information to adivashi People. II. Jaanta Slum Vikas Joyana : This project was started in slum areas with the help of Political Parts. We utilize their offices & Shakhas for Classes and Computer training Project. III. Career Development Project : In the course of this project, we met a lot of literate and illiterate youth and find that youth even in citys like Mumbai dont know how to develop their career. So we are in the process of guiding them in their professional carrer and also help find to find a suitable job. IV. Job Fair : We are undertaking Job fairs and personality development program in different areas of Mumbai, Thane & Navi Mumbai with the help of Colleges and Political parties. We are utilizing their contacts for our projects. V. Maha Bij Abhiyan : This project we are going to start from cureent year. This year we are going to plant seeds in thane district. Vi. Mobile Computer Van : With a large emphasis being placed on computer literacy skills in the labour market, it has become important for the rural youth and less privileged to be assisted in acquiring these skills.
